For about fifteen years I worked as a contractor managing a large software simulation program for a government client. Day-to-day: leading teams, keeping complex systems on schedule, translating between engineers, stakeholders, and end users.

That work taught me how big software actually gets built — and where it tends to go wrong. I started Modible to do the opposite: smaller, more direct, hands-on from start to finish.

Most projects are one client, one developer, one short timeline. You talk to me, not an account manager. Scope is clear up front. If something isn't working, we change it — no committee.

I work across the full stack — frontend, backend, deployment — and lean on tools that get out of the way. AI is part of the toolkit now. Not the show.
